If you enjoy movies, you'll agree that
a natural image is the best choice. With this goal in mind, we're
introducing the second model of our "Pure Mat" series of
diffusion-type screens.
The main fiber used in Pure Mat is a special screen material, an environmentally
friendly bright-dull synthetic fiber manufactured with a diagonally
woven twill. This material is subject to almost none of the wrinkling
that interferes with image quality, and it less likely to show fringe
interference such as the "moire" phenomenon. Moreover, because
hot spots and color shift problems have also been eliminated, this
screen excels at reflecting a natural image. Pure Mat is the ideal
screen for enjoying serious movies in a perfect environment.
Our new Pure Mat II features Pure Mat treated with a back coating.
Sometimes, ambient light behind the screen - such as light streaming
in through a window or the like - counteracts the light projected
on the screen, reducing the necessary contrast. To prevent this,
a dark grey coating has been applied to the back of the screen.
This new product has succeeded at absorbing any ambient light that
strikes the screen, thus improving sharpness and contrast. |
